Kristin really is the love of my life. I knew it the day she drove me to see the 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day.' She's always been a leader in the community, she's always worked her ass off and in a 'me' world, she's the most selfless person I know. We built a nice little life together after we married in 1994. We were going to college, we bought a house in Ogden and brought a couple of dogs into our life. When we weren't going to school or working, we spent our free time hiking with our puppies and working on our house. I didn't think life could get any better, but then along came Shad and Jessica.
There's nothing better than watching the girl you fell in love with teach your kids how to bowl and what it's like to have fun at a Brett Michael's concert. We started a business as a family and Kristin taught them the benefits of leadership and working hard. Shad will always be prepared for anything, or strong enough to deal with anything, because you never know when Mom is going to pull you out of bed at 5:00am to 'conquer thyself' on a mountain adventure. No doubt Jesscia will be a strong leader in whatever she decides to do with her life. She's watched her Mom lead by example and knows the real role of women in society...being successful and shattering gender stereotypes!
Thank you, Babe! Happy Mothers Day, love ya. The best is yet to come as we watch our kiddos achieve great things and help other people. No pressure though, Shad and Jessica. You only have your Mother's reputation to live up to ;-)
